Privacy notice
This notice explains the storefront analytics and optional measurement tags used on this POS Forest deployment. A business operating the site should add its legal entity, contact details, retention rules and any jurisdiction-specific notices before public launch.
Store traffic measurement
If you allow analytics, a random identifier is kept in this browser tab’s session storage and sent to the relevant store’s server. The server stores a one-way keyed hash, page path, referring host and visit time; it does not store the visitor’s IP address. Store owners see aggregated page views, visitor sessions and active pages. POS Forest platform administrators see aggregate homepage traffic. Session identifiers expire from the browser when its tab session ends; server event retention should be set by the site operator.
Optional third-party tags
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion measurement and Meta Pixel are loaded only after you allow analytics, and only when a store owner has configured their IDs. Those providers may process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
Your choice
You can change the analytics choice on this device. Declining prevents POS Forest session analytics and configured third-party tags from loading. The choice is saved in a first-party preference cookie for up to six months.
